A história do VarzeaPédia
Em 2008, o jornalista Diego Viñas trabalhou no diário LANCE! e participou da criação do LANCEPÉDIA, plataforma virtual do jornal para histórias do futebol brasileiro. Pesquisador de futebol amador, Viñas se inspirou no projeto para criar o VárzeaPédia, em 2010.
O projeto começou com formato de blog e foi ganhando moldura até se tornar referência de pesquisa para estudantes, outros pesquisadores e, claro, dos próprios varzeanos que querem desbravar sobre o histórico de times, campeonatos e campos da sua cidade
Sobre o autor
Diego Viñas é jornalista, pós graduado em Jornalismo Esportivo e Negócios do Esporte. Tornou-se pesquisador especializado em futebol de várzea. Participou da produção e direção do curta Contos da Várzea, vencedor do 1º Festival de Cinema de Várzea (2010); é membro de pesquisadores do Memofut; fez parte da equipe de desenvolvimento e implantação do Centro de Referência do Futebol Brasileiro, o CRFB, do Museu do Futebol (2012/2013).
Atualmente, Viñas, criador do VárzeaPédia, é colunista do jornal Metrô News, às terças-feiras, e do programa da rádio Jovem Pan AM, No Mundo da Bola, aos sábados, contando histórias do futebol de várzea.
